Pat Baldwin is a Managing Director in the Chicagoland office. Pat’s responsibilities include managing and developing client workflow, reviewing project deliverables for quality and accuracy, and assisting with projects ranging from audit defense to reverse audit opportunities. With over 40 years of experience, Pat brings a unique perspective and understanding of both government and private sector approaches to sales and use tax compliance and audit issues.
Prior to Thompson Tax, Pat was an Audit Supervisor with the Illinois Department of Revenue, a proprietor of his own state and local tax practice, and most recently an Associate Director of State and Local Taxes with Kraft Foods.
Pat enjoys cheering on the Chicago Bears and White Sox and is working on attending games in all MLB stadiums.
